It was really a historical event when a Hollywood star Warwick Davis, who has worked in great films like Harry Potter and Star Wars, came to India specially to shoot for a Bhojpuri film ‘Chingari’ produced jointly by an Indian and a Hongcong based company. Indian partner is Shreya Srivastava of Khushi Creations and Communications while the Hongcong based partner is Vikas Rai of City Intertainment Ltd.

Warwick Davis came by a chartered plane and participated in the shootings at Mud Island in Mumbai. He was given a warm traditional Indian reception by Shreya and Vikas. Director K.D. explained the scene to Warwick and the dialogue he has to made. Warwick delivered the dialogue and the scene was O.K. Everyone present on the occasion clapped enthusiatically and a hostory was made when a Hollywood star acted in a Bhojpuri film.

Though a special vanity van was called exclusively for Warwick he did not use it and remain on the set. This shows his professional attitude in contrast to the Bhojpur super stars who remain more of the time inside the vanity vans. Warwick was very happy and praised Indian cinema and said that it is a proud moment for him too.

Warwick danced also after properly rehearsing and performed very well. His intense professional attitude was worth emulating. Producer Shreya Srivastava has got a script specially prepared for Warwick Davis.
