Diwali this year was special for Ravi Kishan because he was able to get the blessings of his parents in the morning at his native village Bisui in Jaunpur district of U.P. and celebrated Diwali with his family in the evening in Mumbai.

Diwali always has been improtant for Ravi Kishan. That was a Diwali when he bought a saree for his mother with his first earning and got a slap in return. His mother thought that Ravi was doing some illegal work becuase no one knew that Ravi Kishan sells newspaper. Lost in his memories Ravi Kishan told that earlier he use to celebrate Diwali either his native village or in Mumbai but this year he was able to do this on the same day at both the places.

Another of his dreams has also became a reality this year after 20 years when he is shooting for a Bhojpuri film “Pran Jaye Par Vachan Naa Jaye” in his village.
