Famous and successful star-actress of Bhojpuri cinema, Pakhi Hegde, is now playing the character of a dance-worker. Pakhi has earlier done many kinds of roles including a damsel to a typical Indian lady. Now she is playing the role of a dance-worker, tawayaf, in Bhojpuri film Lofar.

The story of the film revolve around this dance-worker played by Pakhi. Dinesh Lal Nirahua is the hero of the film but the film is lead actress oriented. There is a muzra filmed on Pakhi which will make them restless. Pakhi has all the required style, appearance, and latke-jhatke commonly associated with the dance-workers.
