Recently star actress of Bhojpuri cinema Pakhi Hegde was felicitated by Anirood Jugnauth at a glittering cultural function at Jamshedpur. She was honored for giving the best contribution to Bhojpuri cinema. Pakhi was given an “angvastram”, and a momento. President Jugnauth invited her to Mauritius for film making and to strengthen the bilateral ties between India and Mauritius. Pakhi was thrilled with this felicitation and said this is going to be a memorable event for her. Some others persons including Malini Awasthi and Rajkumar R.Pandey, too were felicitated at the function. The function was orgainsed with the help of union ministry of food processing.
