Bihar Government is going to celebrate Bihar Day with a three day long film festival. The function will be held from 22nd to 24th March at Patna. Four Bhojpuri films have already been selected for screening during the festival. These films include Manoj Tiwari starrer “Kab aiboo anganawa Hamar” and Rinku Ghosh starrer “Gathbandhan Pyar Ke” and “Bidai”.

The classical Bhojpuri film “Ganga Maiya Tohe Piyari Chadhaibo” will also be screened. This is going to be a first instance of Ministers and administrators viewing Bhojpuri films togather. Bihar government has invited the whole unit of the selected films and plan to honour Manoj Tiwari, Rinku Ghosh, Aslam Shekh etc.

The film industry is happy with this development as it may eventualy lead to Bihar government giving relief to Bhojpuri film makers and promoting Bhojpuri films as a whole.
