This year 2011 started with a winning note for Gunjna Pant when “Rampur Ke Lakshman” starring her became a super hit and congratulatins started pouring in. Now Gunjan Pant has been offered an important role in a popular TV serial “Sakshi”. The role is of a girl who wants to pursue higher studies but her family resists saying girls need not study at higher level. Gunjan, though busy with her film commitments, readily agreed for the smae because, she thinks, a daily soap gives more opportunities to show one’s talent. She has just completed her shooting schedule for “Ramlakhan”, five of her films are on the floor, and “Yadav Paan Bhandar” with megastar of Bhojpuri cinema Manoj Tiwari is going for release soon.
