Bhojpuri super star was mentioned by a tantrik “Bangali Baba” who asked Rani Chatterjee to cough up Rs. 15 lakhs or become the vicitim of his “maran mantra” (vodoo killing). What Bangali Baba said was that he is being paid by Pawan Singh and if Rani pays more than what Pawan is paying he will not use his Maran Mantra. However Pawan Singh is not a named accused in the police case. But Pawan Singh has sent a letter of apology to Rani Chatterjee that such thing will not recurr. A copy of the apology letter has also been sent to FWICE. This is claimed by Mid Day newspaper of Mumbai.
